Mommy and Maliyah
Here is my baby, Maliyah Grace who is almost FOUR. She is such a little sweetie and says the funniest things. She loves to snuggle up to get toasty and she loves to wear boots. Especially her red boots! She loves her ABC blanket and her turtle when she sleeps at night. She has been our best sleeper She says her best friend is Maya and they play so well together and are so close. She doesn't have any favorite toys, she plays with just about anything. Many times we see her talking with her hands to one another and another time she had a fork and a spoon and one was the mom and one the other the kid. She does love Toy Story and she loves playing with her Buzz, Bullseye, Woody, Rex and Jessie. Jessie of course is her favorite and she was Jessie for Halloween this year and is going to have a Jessie birthday party. She is always telling us she is "super huge" when she wants to do something only big girls can do and when it is something she doesn't want to do, like picking up a mess, she tells us, "I can't because I'm bitty tiny". Her favorite thing to drink is Chocolate milk of course and chocolate donuts (only the tops of them) Did I mention she loves Chocolate? She wants to go to Hawaii one day. She loves to swim and learned to swim across the pool this summer. She has long blonde curly hair "just like Rapunzel" that is always tangled. She is my only girl with fine hair the rest of my girls hair is very course. She has a lot of hair however and those three things mixed together makes for a mess. So we buy lots of Moroccan oil- that stuff works like magic. At least once a week she asks me if we can go to Disneyland. She loves to dance ballet and "tappy-tap" at dance class. She goes to Preschool Partners twice a week and is learning so much already. She loves listening to stories and reading books. She also thinks dinosaurs are really cool and was very into the movie "Dinosaur". She most resembles her oldest sister Makenna and I think she likes that. However she is her own little person and it is so fun to watch her grow each and every day. We love our little Weezie.

Broncos vs. Chiefs game
Trevor and I and the girls spent New Years eve with the Williams family. It has become our traditional the last few years. We do fondue and watch movies, the kids play hard and then pass out when it is time for bed. It is a lot of fun! This year, the next day we had tickets to go and watch the Broncos play the Chiefs. We were so ready for this game! Everyone was all decked out in Timmy gear, we had blankets and hats to keep us warm (it was freezing because we were in the shade) and it couldn't have gone any worse. One of the worst games of the season. The ball never moved. The most exciting part of our day was watching a cat fight between a chief and bronco fan at the end of the night while leaving the stadium. That and San Diego won which meant we were still in the playoffs. Go Timmy!
We believe!....well the next game was amazing. We watched it at home and Timmy was on fire-he was so amazing to watch, everything just came together perfectly. (sorry I don't do play by play)-anyway, the next game was horrible, nothing happened and we are now officially finished with our season. However, we have next season to look forward to...and we can't wait!

Denver Nuggets Game
This year for Christmas, Trevor gave Makenna tickets to a Denver Nuggets game. He had taken her last year and she loved it. Especially all the alone time with Dad. We try very hard to spend alone time with each of our girls on "dates". They can be as simple as a trip to Target to pick out something new, a movie and popcorn, getting pedicures or taking them out to dinner. It is something that they all enjoy. We also try to take just one girl with us when we can, to run an errand for some more alone time. Just last night, Trevor took Madison with him to get gas in the car because he had to leave early the next morning. Just little bits and pieces of alone time. At the Nuggets game, they sat only three rows up from the court which made for an up close and personal experience:) As the players came out of the locker room, Makenna was able to high five just about all of them, which she loved. They made this sign to hold up that said "We Believe" (it was more for the Broncos than for the Nuggets actually). The game started at 8 and wasn't over until 11 something so it made for a long night. She had cotton candy, hot dogs and gatorade (she said she was scared to drink her gatorade because she didn't want to get a red mustache on live television:) They had such a great time!

My first time blogging
I have decided that since I am continually forgetting just about everything (including that I am turning 40 in approx. 9 months---maybe that is a coincidence that I don't want to remember that little bit of information about myself)...that I need to start a blog. Not for anyone else, but for myself. I want to remember what life was like in this "season" of raising my four girls, Makenna Isabella (12), Madison Emmalee (9), Maya Brooklynn (5) and Maliyah Grace (3).
I wish I would've started this long ago when my first born Makenna was a baby because I have now forgotten many details and only remember bits and pieces of her childhood. The same goes for the rest of my girls. I can't see to stay caught up with scrapbooking so I decided to help myself out when I do get a chance to scrapbook again, I would start blogging about our family and what we are doing. I guess I really want this not only for myself, but also for my girls when they are older. You see, I am a third born, the baby of the family that was a "surprise". My sister, Tami is 15 years older than me and my brother, Mark is ten years older than me. So, by the time I was in Kindergarten, my sister was out of the house and married (I was her flower girl in the wedding) and my brother was a senior in high school. Most of my memories growing up were as an only child. I wasn't of course, but it felt like it since everyone was out of the house for most of my childhood. Because I was the third born, there is little that was written in my baby book- if I remember correctly, it was my birthdate, the doctor who delivered me (like THAT was important) and maybe my first immunizations. I think I may have also had some cards from the flowers that my mom received at the hospital and maybe even my wristbands that were taped carefully with scotch tape. Our poor moms back then had no idea that their precious memories were going to end up yellow and crusty because they did not use something called "acid free tape" I would tease my mom saying, "When I have kids I am writing everything down!" So here I am now with what I hope to be my first blog of many. Needless to say I have little time to write blogs (it is 12:30a.m right now and I have to be up and ready to do carpool at 7am), but I am going to try. It is one of my more important New Years resolutions. So there you have it, my first time blogging. I hope that I can keep this up....
