When we go out to Grandpa Sams house, no one ever wants to leave. There are so many memories there for Trevor and really all of us and ALL of them are good memories. We always tell stories around the dining room table as we eat lunch. There is always lots of food there too. Back when it was Grandma Sams doing the cooking, we had a full blown Sunday meal even for an ordinary afternoon lunch. She knew how to cook better than anyone I knew and somehow everything just tasted better at her house. Grandma Passed away on Sept 5, 2006. She has been missed dearly by all of us, but especially Grandpa. We try and get out to visit him as often as we can because he loves being with family, especially watching all of the great grandkids. This day, he had actually just gotten home from the hospital. He had fallen into a closet that had a crawl space and fell and broke his leg over Thanksgiving. He was in a rehab center for awhile and then finally got to come home after some time spent in the hospital due to water being around his heart. Actually, a few days after we left he had to be put back into the hospital for this same reason. This day at Grandpa's the girls spent almost the entire day outside, they walked around in the fields and saw the cows (you should've seen Maya and Maliyah stepping around all that cow poop! They climbed on a haystack, rode four wheelers, shot guns, played alligator in the basement with Trevor (he is always telling them little boy stories so they wanted to play the game he always played down there when he was little) and played hide and seek all over the house. Makenna slept the entire day because she had a horrible headache, later we found out that she probably had a migraine. All in all we had a great day. When we were leaving that night there was a beautiful sunset and it was bright orange and blue. The Broncos were playing that night and it looked like God was cheering for them! We had Todd, Wendi, Nana and Zedo over that evening but it was a bad, bad game. We still love you Timmy!
